Founded in 2009, Adorned in Ash (AiA) is much more than just a female fronted metal band from Pretoria, South Africa. They are an exhilarating metal experience that knows no boundaries.
Their unique brand of heavy metal can not be pigeonholed into one genre but instead borrows intense qualities from most of the extreme metal styles. Brutally heavy yet beautifully melodic, progressive but groove driven, their song flow from Black Metal to Death Metal to Thrash and into something fresh and unfamiliar with effortless effectiveness leaving the listener in awe.
