Cannon To A Whisper was a 4 piece post-hardcore band based in Pretoria, South Africa. The band was started in late 2003, by Paul Van Der Walt and Iain Stalker, out of the ashes of their previous effort, Pet Flyz, a popular Pretoria punk outfit.
In Cannon To A Whisper’s short 18-month existence (2003-2005), the band managed to release a self-titled EP and toured South Africa’s major cities (Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban & Cape Town). Before disbanding, the band also did an independent UK tour in early 2005, sharing stages with the likes of Enter Shikari and Million Dead.
