Black/Death/Thrash Metal. DAMNATIA has its origins in the Cape Town metal scene of the late 1990s. They formed in 1996 and broke up in 1999. In 2009 they reformed to perform at Whiplash Fest and Grindfest and The Jolly Roger in 2010. Drummer Adrian Langeveld left the band in 2011 and was replaced by Byron Howell in 2012. They have since performed at the Exodus Tribute Show at ROAR and Numero Productions’ To The Stage II.
