Death Metal from Stellenbosch. A band formed in 2011 with the intention of turning the South African metal scene on it’s head and setting a new standard in local metal musicianship. We plan on showing the world that our death metal warriors have the brutality and blackness to rival any international-standard metal act, and that we also have the potential to become part of the ever evolving fringe of modern death metal and further the cause of like-minded people everywhere. We are Sarcophagus, and we will not stop invoking rage until our bones are laid into the Earth.
