Scarlet Host is a progressive metal band formed in 2001 in Observatory, Cape Town and remained active until June 2006. Originally consisting of Kevin Jardim (guitar), Anton Marshall (bass), Dino Jardim (drums) and Lindsey Roussouw (vocals) the band later expanded into a five piece with the addition of Nick van Rensburg (guitar).
